Why the answers are not on these lists
The ministry publishes the question stems, never the answers. And 12 of your 40 exam questions will be situational questions that are not published anywhere. PrépareFrance wrote an answer, three distractors and an explanation in English and French for every official question, plus 90 original situational questions in the official format.
How many questions are in the civic exam?
The exam has 40 questions in 45 minutes: 28 knowledge questions drawn from the official list for your procedure and 12 unpublished situational questions. You need 32 correct answers to pass.
Where are the official question lists published?
On the interior ministry's websites (formation-civique.interieur.gouv.fr and immigration.interieur.gouv.fr). We reproduce the official stems here without modification.
Are the official answers published?
No. The State publishes neither the answers nor the answer options. The answers and explanations available on PrépareFrance are original editorial work, consistent with the official programme.
